The cashback rate is the percentage of the qualifying purchase amount a merchant offers back through ShopBack.

Rates vary by merchant and often by product category within a merchant. A store may offer one rate on apparel and a lower rate on electronics. Rates change over time, so the live rate on the merchant page at www.shopback.com is always the authoritative number.

The rate applies to the qualifying purchase amount, which usually excludes sales tax, shipping, and gift card purchases. Merchant terms on each store page list the exclusions.
