Once cashback is confirmed, withdraw it from your ShopBack account to a linked bank account or PayPal. Cashback that is still pending cannot be withdrawn yet, because the merchant's return window has not closed.

Withdrawing cashback is the last step of the lifecycle: cashback tracks when you buy, confirms when the merchant's return window closes, and then sits in your withdrawable balance until you send it to a bank account or PayPal. The whole withdrawal takes a minute once your balance is confirmed.

## Why is some of my cashback not withdrawable yet?

Because it is still pending. Merchants hold cashback in pending while their return and cancellation window is open, so that returns and order changes can adjust the amount. Most retail orders confirm within 30 to 90 days of purchase, and travel bookings confirm after the stay or trip is completed. Nothing you do speeds this up, it is the merchant's verification timeline.

## Where can the money go?

To a linked bank account or PayPal. Withdrawn cashback is real money, not points or store credit. Some regions also offer gift card redemption at a bonus, but that is a choice, never a requirement.

## Should I withdraw right away or let it build up?

Whichever you prefer, there is no penalty either way. Cashback does not expire in your balance, so some shoppers withdraw every time an order confirms while others let it build into a larger payout. The only rule worth following is to keep your payout details current so a withdrawal never bounces.

## The steps, in order

1. Check your withdrawable balance: Your account shows cashback in three states, pending, confirmed, and withdrawable. Only the withdrawable balance can be paid out. Pending cashback is still inside the merchant's return window.
2. Link a payout destination: Add a bank account or PayPal account in your ShopBack account settings. The name on the payout account must match your ShopBack account details.
3. Request the withdrawal: Choose withdraw, pick the linked destination, and enter the amount up to your withdrawable balance.
4. Wait for the transfer: Payout timing depends on the destination. Bank transfers and PayPal payouts typically arrive within a few business days, and the withdrawal appears in your account history.
