Confirmation window.

Definition

The confirmation window is the period a merchant takes to verify a purchase before pending cashback becomes confirmed.

Start earning cashback on ShopBack

Merchants confirm purchases only after the return and cancellation period has passed and the order is final. Each merchant page on www.shopback.com shows an estimated confirmation timeline for that store.

Typical retail windows run 30 to 90 days. Travel merchants confirm after checkout or travel completion, so a hotel booked months ahead confirms after the stay, not after the booking.
