Merchants raise rates for limited periods, often around events like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or category sale days. The upsized rate applies to purchases made while the promotion is live and tracked through a normal activation.
Upsized rates follow the same lifecycle as regular cashback: tracked, pending, confirmed, withdrawable. The live rate on the merchant page is the authoritative number at any moment.
