How to save at Temu without losing track of your order.

Temu can be useful for small household and fashion purchases when you compare the exact item rather than the headline discount. Read the seller, size, material, quantity and estimated delivery details before checkout. For a US order, there are two separate ways to save: a lower Temu checkout price now and, on a qualifying tracked purchase, cashback from ShopBack later. Neither is a promise that every item qualifies.

Compare the item you will actually receive

A product search may show similar-looking listings with different quantities, dimensions or sellers. Open the product detail page before comparing totals. For a storage organizer, for example, compare the number of pieces and measurements; for clothing, compare the size chart and fabric description. A low unit price is less helpful if the listing is for one component of a set you thought you were buying. Read the delivery estimate and any shipping charge in the cart, not just the product tile.

Temu's return and refund policy explains how to request a return through Your Orders and says the first return of returnable items from an order is generally free within the stated window, with exceptions. Temu's price-adjustment policy covers the same item, size and color from the same seller if its selling price drops within 30 days after payment in the same country or region. Start a qualifying ShopBack visit with an empty cart

The US ShopBack Temu page lists current order categories and caps. A new-user promotion has its own conditions, so an existing account should not assume it gets the introductory offer. The page also instructs shoppers to empty their Temu cart before pressing Shop Online, and says items paid through one-click pay do not qualify. Follow the destination and order instructions shown there for the specific offer you select, then complete the purchase in the same shopping visit.

There is an important distinction between the page's promotional category labels and its exclusion text: its terms currently exclude orders placed using the Temu app. For a straightforward purchase, use the website flow reached from ShopBack rather than assuming an in-app checkout is covered. Cell phones, tablets and laptops are also listed as excluded. These restrictions matter more than the headline offer when choosing what to put in the basket.

Decide whether a coupon or cashback is the better route

At checkout, distinguish a Temu discount that reduces your payment immediately from ShopBack cashback that depends on an eligible tracked purchase and later confirmation. ShopBack excludes purchases made using vouchers or promo codes not featured on its platform. If you have a code from elsewhere, compare its checkout saving with the ShopBack offer under the relevant terms instead of counting both. Taxes, shipping and service charges are outside ShopBack's cashback calculation.
