The extension detects when the browser is on a participating merchant site and prompts a one-click activation, replacing the need to start at shopback.com. At checkout it can test available promo codes, and cashback stacks on top of the discounts.
Because the extension handles activation in the same tab, it removes the most common cause of missed cashback: buying without clicking through ShopBack first.
